PDF Merge

Merge up to 10 PDF files into one document entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. No upload to a server.

PDF Merge

Files stay in your browser. Each PDF must be 25 MB or smaller.

PDF Merge combines several PDF files into one downloadable document without sending your pages to a remote processor. Pick the files in the order you want them joined, run the merge, and save a single PDF that keeps every selected page.

The tool is built for everyday paperwork: contracts plus appendices, scanned chapters, signed forms, and export packs that still live as separate downloads. Everything runs in the browser with pdf-lib, so the bytes never leave your device during the merge step.

What PDF Merge does

  • Accept multiple PDF uploads (up to 10 files)
  • Enforce a hard 25 MB cap per file so the tab stays responsive
  • Copy pages from each source document into one output PDF
  • Download the combined file as merged.pdf
  • Surface clear status and error messages when a file cannot be read

Who PDF Merge is for

  • Office teams assembling packets before a meeting
  • Students stitching lecture notes and assignment PDFs
  • Freelancers combining invoices, statements, and attachments
  • Anyone who prefers local processing over upload-based converters

How to use PDF Merge

1. Open PDF Merge on beeforge.dev.
2. Choose up to 10 PDF files. Selection order is the merge order.
3. Click Merge & download and wait for the status line to finish.
4. Save the downloaded PDF, then open it to confirm page order.

Features

  • Client-side merge powered by pdf-lib
  • Multi-file picker with a readable file list and sizes
  • Per-file 25 MB limit and a 10-file maximum
  • No account, signup, or API key required
  • Works alongside BeeForge PDF Split, Compress, and image conversion tools

Examples

  • Join a cover letter PDF with a multi-page resume PDF before sending an application.
  • Combine weekly report exports into one archive for a stakeholder review.
  • Append signed addenda to a master agreement without reprinting the whole pack.
  • Merge product datasheets into a single leave-behind for a sales call.

Tips and limits

  • Keep files under 25 MB each. Very large scans may need compression first.
  • Encrypted or damaged PDFs can fail to load; decrypt them locally if needed.
  • Browser tabs have memory limits. Extremely page-heavy packs may struggle on low-RAM devices.
  • Merge order follows the order of selected files in the picker.
  • This tool concatenates pages. It does not edit text layers or form fields.

Related tools

  • PDF Compress for a light cleanup pass when the merged file feels heavy

FAQ

Are my PDFs uploaded to BeeForge?

No. Merge runs in your browser with pdf-lib. Files are read locally and the result downloads from a Blob URL on your machine.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 10 PDF files per run, and each file must be 25 MB or smaller.

Does merge preserve bookmarks and forms?

Page content is copied into a new document. Advanced structure such as bookmarks, annotations, or active form logic may not carry over fully.

What if one file fails?

The status and error areas explain the problem. Remove the bad file or re-export it from the original app, then try again.

Can I reorder pages after merging?

Not inside this tool. Merge again with a different selection order, or use PDF Split to extract the pages you need into a new set.
